First Christian Church of Baytown

Welcome to First Christian Church of Baytown 

First Christian Church has been part of Eastern Harris and Western Chambers County since 1919.  Our ministry to all God's children has been and continues to be our only reason for existence.  We invite you to come and explore our website and then come by and meet us in person.  

Our worship services are held each Sunday at 10:50 AM in the Sanctuary.  Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:30.

We are located at 201 Forrest Avenue just two blocks west of North Main south of Ward Road.  (For directions click here) We guarantee a warm welcome and a whole church full of new friends.

We recognize that all of us are on a journey.   But too often we lose sight of the path that brings us the greatest joy.  We become side-tracked by paths that offer empty promises.  We become confused by all the choices we have.  Sometimes we are simply too tired to keep going.

At First Christian we know that we need companions for this journey, friends with whom we share a common bond of understanding and devotion.  We need friends who can help us stay on the path toward real joy, real spiritual health. 

Come and walk with us.  We do not pretend to have all the answers.  But you will find caring people who know your struggles as well as your hopes.  Come and discover the joy of walking together into abiding love, deep joy, enduring hope, and real trust.
